- Important and Urgent — Tactics;
- Important Not Urgent — Strategy;
- Not Important Urgent — Current tasks;
- Not Important Not Urgent — Operational tasks.
Strategy — matters of strategic significance - those tasks that will have weight and importance in 3-10 years. Important key results and projects.
Tactics answers the question «what do I need to achieve within the year?». This is a regular process.
Routine tasks — the zone of systematic delegation;
Everything not related to strategy, tactics, or routine tasks — operational tasks.List all the tasks for the week by category. If there is a deficit in the «Strategy» and «Tactics» categories, your employees and your company risk standing still.
